CAMP WILLIAMS — The Utah National guard's AH-64 apache helicopters could be removed from Utah, according to a plan proposed by the chief of staff of the Active Duty Army and confirmed by KSL Monday. The plan would only happen if U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel and Congress both approve the idea. But if it happens, it would affect the jobs of 212 people in Utah's 1-211th National Guard Unit.In addition, Col. Hank McIntire said every citizen in Utah would be affected because fewer choppers would affect the military's ability to protect the area with that particular piece of equipment.About 300 soldiers in the Utah National Guard First Battalion completed a 12-month deployment to Afghanistan in phases about a year ago. Their mission was to "fly AH-64 Apache Longbow helicopters to conduct aerial route reconnaissance and provide armed escort for U.S. and coalition aircraft," according to a press release.Word of the proposed cut has spread throughout the military community, and an online petition was created Monday to lobby against the proposal.Utah's congressional delegation has also been briefed on the plan, but had not commented as of Monday morning.

This is interesting, are they being removed why? For a military reason? For a political reason? For the dis arming of Utah's National Guard, many of whom have said they would Keep their Oaths of Office to defend the US Constitution, and not obey illegal / political / bad / evil orders from an unethical or worse Washington DC White House. Since Obama IS building a military He controls seperate from our current active military, and he is defunding, un training, deleting experianced officers and leaders any way he can, Purging top leaderships, now removing other means of civil defense by taking away the National Guard Apache 64's in Utah, what is the real reason then? Is it a tactical move to lessen the opportunity for we the people to stand against tyranny?
