“I counted, they had 11 vehicles all with at least two agents in each one, maybe more,” he said. “They also had four snipers on the hill above us all trained on us. We were doing nothing besides filming the area.”

“They said that we had no first amendment rights except for up by the bridge where they had established an area for that,” Bundy said.
The BLM has established two fenced areas near the City of Mesquite, that they have designated as free speech areas for members of the public to express their opinions.
The family was standing along side the public highway taking photographs for documentation, then one was arrested for standing in a public place using a camera and refusing to leave the PUBLIC roadway when ordered to do so by the heavy handed dictators of the BLM Agents. A public road that was open for travel and was not closed. Arrested for exercising our God given rights and as guaranteed by the first amendment. They were told their rights do not exist unless they are standing in a "box" that the Govt gives us permission to stand in and placed where they see fit. Last time I checked the first amendment applies to ALL us citizens from east coast to west coast, from north to south.
This is why many traveled to Bunkerville that day including Eric Ej Parker, Steven Stewart, Scott Drexler, and Todd Engel. They wanted to protest peacefully to express the distaste in the overreach that was blatant. So blatant that the BLM actually paid tax payers money to make signs that said "First Amendment Area" located some 30 miles away. Spending tax payers money to violate the rights of the tax payers who paid for the unconstitutional signs. It was only when federal snipers drew down on the citizens and proudly announced they had been given the "green light" to use lethal force against protestors they took cover to seek refuge from the potential of BLM sniper fire as we have seen at Ruby Ridge and Waco. Those that were in fear of their life have now been arrested for this. The federal prosecutors are painting these men as violent extremist. These men are God fearing, family loving, and hard working men who love their country and the freedoms it stands for. They are not violent extremist.
