The following is a message from Joe O’Shaughnessy from inside Inverness Detention Center Portland Oregon.
He wrote me and asked that I type it up and post it f...or all of you.
As I read it my heart broke as it also swelled with pride that this man is my brother, maybe not in blood but in every other way there is. I am proud to have been adopted into his family.

*To my friends, my family and my fellow Americans,
Despite the hardship I face every day and several other brave Americans face with me, while being held illegally and unconstitutionally imprisoned for crimes that were never committed, and despite the blatant murder of a True American Hero I still believe in the Greatness of America. These days it is easy to see only doom and gloom for the future of our country “but” I believe in the resilience and strength of the American People.
Too may people have fought, sacrificed and given their lives to preserve our freedom and liberty…and defend the constitution that legally gives us as Americans these rights lest we forget that “We the People” have always been the most powerful Branch of Government and the future of this country will surely depend on those of us who stand up and defend these freedoms and liberties.
And instill in the future generations their duty to do the same…
Let no one tell you that this is not a Christian Nation and a Christian Nation it will remain…or it will surely fall…for without morality no Nation can survive.
Make no mistake this is without question a battle between good and evil.
So stay strong and be relentless and always remember that when all is said and done…
The most significant work you will ever do…Is GOD’S work…!!
In the end the things of this world will fade away becoming a distant memory but God’s work, work done for the kingdom of Heaven will last for all Eternity…
One of the greatest scriptures that gives me strength is “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake for “theirs” is the kingdom of Heaven”
I focus on the word “theirs” meaning someday it will belong to me and can never be taken away…
For now my future, the future of freedom and liberty and the future of this great country lies in your hands…there is very little I can do from behind these walls.
So it is you who I will rely on and hop and pray that you pick up the torch and continue to spread sparks of freedom and truth till I can have my day in court.
