The government of our Heavenly Father called by many names in different cultures but God our Father is always the same.
He has always been very dissimilar to the governments of human kind. whether we refer to his religious government or to the government of nations. The government of God has always tended to promote Peace, Unity, Harmony, Strength and Happiness; while that of humankind has been productive of confusion, disorder,weakness,and misery.
The greatest acts of the mighty men have been to depopulate the nations and to overthrow kingdoms; and whilst they have exalted themselves and become glorious, it has been at the great expense of the lives of millions of innocent human beings. The Blood of the oppressed, the moans of the widow and the tears of the orphan have cried from upon Mother Earth to the Heavens above for justice.
Egypt, Babylon, Greece, Persia, Carthage, Rome, France, England, Spain, USSR, China, Korea, Cuba, Hitlers Germany, Aztec, Myan, Lamanites, Armies of current Islam through out Earth, have been raised to dignity amidst the clash of arms and the din of war; and whilst their triumphant leaders led froth their victorious armies to glory and victory, their ears were saluted with the groans of the dying and the misery and distress of the human family; before them the earth was a paradise, and behind them a desolate wilderness; their kingdoms were founded in carnage and bloodshed and sustained by oppression, tyranny, and despotism.
The designs of God, on the other hand, have always been to promote the universal good of the universal world; to establish peace and good will among humankind; to promote the principles of eternal truth; to bring about a state of things that shall unite humankind to their fellow brothers & sisters ; that will cause them through out the Earth to beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks, make all the nations of the earth to dwell in peace, and to bring about the millennial glory, when the earth shall yield its increase, resuming its paradisean glory,. and become as the garden of the Lord once again.
The great and wise of the ancient and current days have failed in all their attempts to promote eternal power, peace and happiness. Their nations have and always will crumbled to pieces; their thrones have been cast down in their turn, and their cities, and their mightiest works of art have been annihilated; or their dilapidated towers, of time-worn monuments have left us but feeble traces of their former magnificence and ancient grandeur like the Aztec, Rome, Hopewell Mound builders of America, Myan, and others of Earth. They proclaim as with a voice of thunder, those imperishable truths - that Human's strength is weakness, his wisdom is folly, his glory is his shame.
Monarchial, aristocratical, tyranical, democratic, republic, communistic, socialistic governments of their various kinds and grades, have, in their turn, been raised to dignity, and prostrated in the dust.
The plans of the greatest politicians, and the wisest senators, and the most profound statesmen have been exploded; and the proceedings of the greatest chieftains, the bravest generals, and the wisest kings have fallen to the ground. Nation has succeeded nation, and we have inherited nothing but their folly. History records their puerile plans, their short-lived glory, their feeble intellect and their ignoble deeds.
Have we increased in knowledge or intelligence? Where is there a man or woman that can step forth and alter the destiny of nations and promote the happiness of the world? Or where is there a kingdom or nation that can promote the universal happiness of its own subjects, or even their general well being? Our nation, which possesses greater resources than any other, is rent, from center to circumference, with party strife, political intrigues, and sectional interests; our counselors are panic stricken, our legislators are astonished, and paralyzed, our tradesmen are disheartened, our mechanics out of employment, our farmers distressed, and our poor crying for bread, our banks are broken, our credit ruined, and our states overwhelmed in debt, yet we are, and have been in peace most of the time. Now we send our strength of youth and intellect our best to fight in wars, police actions through out the World first to punish those who have declared war upon us, who have viciously attacked our innocent and who now defend us and our freedoms and ways of life. Who even now do serve to defend us while the politicians debate the cause, ignore the needs of the warriors we sent abroad they squabble and do not fully support or supply their needs to be successful.
What is the matter? Are we alone in this thing? No!, with all our own Evils and corruption upon American soil we are far better situated than any other nation upon the face of the Earth.
Let Russia, China, Iran, Egypt, England, France, Cuba, Argentina, Germany, Italy, Spain, Mexico, yea Any other nation speak and tell the tale of their troubles, their perplexity, and distress, and we should find that their cup is and was full of sorrow. England, that boasts of her literature, her science, commerce, etc., has her hands reeking with the blood of her once great empire of old. China who also speaks so highly of its growth and maturity yet has her hands drenched in the blood of her peoples and the cry's of her orphans and widows and slaves do cry to the heavens for release of their bonds of their pains. As does the leader of the Islamist brotherhoods Iran who does by his intrigue over take the middle eastern nations with his tyranny his political ideology of power and suppression in the form of a religion Islam. All these are not new, history does repeat time after time such folly. No not one nation upon this earth can state from their current systems or history they are innocent from the blood of the innocent in their rise to assumed glory or power.
Yea the world itself presents one great theater of misery, woe, and distress amongst all nations and their perplexity.
All, all, speak with a voice of thunder, that man is not able to govern himself, to legislate for himself, to protect himself, to promote his won good, nor the good of the world.
It has been the design of Jehovah, from the commencement of the world, and is His purpose now, to regulate the affairs of the world in His own time, to stand as a head of the universe, and take the reins of government in His own hand. When that is done, judgment will be administered in righteousness; anarchy and confusion will be destroyed, and nations will learn war no more. It is for want of this great governing principle. That all this confusion has existed; for "it is not in man that walketh, to direct his steps" ; this we have fully shown.
If there was and is anything great or good in this world, it came from God, the Lord has at various times commenced this kind of government, and tendered His services to the human family. He selected Enoch, whom He directed, and gave His law unto, and to the people who were with him; and when the world in general would not obey the commands of God, after walking with God, he translated Enoch and his church, and the Priesthood or government of heaven was taken away.
Abraham was guided in all his family affairs by the Lord; was conversed with by angels, and by the Lord was told where to go, and when to stop; and prospered exceedingly in all that he put his hand unto; it was because he and his family obeyed the counsel of the Lord.
When Egypt was under the superintendence of Joseph it prospered, because he was taught of God. When the children of Israel were chosen with Moses at their head their motto was "The Lord is our Lawgiver; the Lord is our Judge; the Lord is our King, and He shall reign over us." While in this state they might truly say, "Happy is that people, who's God is the Lord."
Their form of government was a theocracy, they had God to make their laws, and men chosen by Him to administer them, He was their God and they were his people. Moses received the world of the Lord and he told Aaron and Aaron taught the people. They were both one there was no distinction; so will it be when the purposes of God shall be accomplished: when the Lord shall be King over the whole earth, and Jerusalem His throne. The law shall go forth from Zion and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. This is the only thing that can bring about the 'restitution of all things spoken of by all the holy Prophets since the world was, the dispensation of the fullness of times, when God shall gather together all things in one.
Other attempts to promote universal peace and happiness have failed; every plan and design has fallen to the ground; it needs the wisdom of God the intelligence of God and the power of God to accomplish this.
As a Nation as a group of church going people it behooves us to be wise, and to seek to know the will of God, and then be willing to 'Do It.'
As a Nation founded upon the principles of the God of Heaven, the US. Constitution was based upon such heavenly ideals of freedom for all, free agency and the restraints of mans government control over each other as that leads to misery eventually as man is imperfect in taking care of himself.
As a nations of Judeo - Christian beliefs taught to our forefathers and brought over the great oceans to Turtle Island known as America the same teachings have always been the same, Christian or Christ like ideals of Peace, harmony, love, caring, freedom. Always taught to humankind through out all of Earth from the heavens to Prophets and good human beings of all cultures by angels or God himself to be good peoples and to follow the government of God.
The only time when once the government designed by Heaven falls, it is because the peoples choose with the agency of free choice to dis a vow it, to go after their own carnal desires, power, greed, control, tyranny to force others to be as they are, to force upon others their human idea's, to take away their freedom and to replace it with control of a few government elites to control the masses of humanity, normally with the saying we know best, its for your own good or safety with such honey they do speak and seduce and then enslave the peoples. And for their Own self glory they do this not for the glory of their maker, their Father in Heaven. For they are selfish in their wants and desires and thus we see how the history of Earth tells the tales of so many destroyed nations one after another.
The only true peace is one based upon peace, the Government of Heaven, of God our Father above, only he is just and true and uncorrectable, and he will bring the only successful form of government upon this earth, not by blood, war, and so forth, but by love and peace shall the enemy of all righteousness be chained, when human kind chooses to follow the path of God, they will no longer lust for control, power, greed, blood, all the evils of earth and Lucifer, Satan the Devil who only exists to destroy the spirit children of Heavenly Father yea even God.
When we as a human family choose love, peace, all goodness and mature to no longer seek the dark side of life, we shall bound evil by refusing to follow it.
May we all look deep into our own individual lives, kneel upon the earth and bow before Heaven and ask, sincerely ask to know your Father in Heaven above, as you learn he is real, he is there and will communicate with you and is only waiting as a loving father to guide you his child in this life, when we learn this, and feel his un-matchless love for each of us, regardless of our standing in humanities eyes, young, old, bond, or free, poor or rich it matters not to him. We are each special to him for he truly knows of each one of us as individuals, he knows are needs and our dreams.
Pray humbly and sincerely and then take the light that will begin to grow with in your soul like a seed you planted in the soil it will need good nourishment to grow, so with daily care it will grow into a good tree and produce good fruit to share with all. This is how Earth and its people will become a good world, and when all know of this and choose love, we shall no longer have the ills of all the nations, wars, etc. of mankind.
