State Secession? Hold On For Dear Life!
Is it any surprise that at least 25% of Americans feel disenfranchised from the country in light of how Washington is mishandling one issue after another?
Despite objection from the majority of Americans, Obamacare was forced upon the people. Despite overwhelming objection, amnesty for illegal immigrants is about to receive executive order under President Obama as soon as the November elections are over. We’ve all watched our military demoralized under this current administration in the wake of the VA scandal. Obama now wants to send three thousand US troops into Liberia to help with Ebola. The list goes on as American’s have lost our trust in Washington, the IRS, the NSA, the EPA, etc., etc . . .
We are sick of it! That 25% statistic shows just how much we’ve had it. I’ve often asked myself, “If the federal government bails out California, New York, or some other state because of liberal leftist’s mismanagement leading to their own bankruptcy, would that be the straw that would finally cause multiple states to declare secession?
Many Americans feel that they are being pulled in a multiple of directions. I do not want to see our country head down that direction, but how do you stop a moving bus about to go over a cliff?
I believe that more than 25% would like to pull away from the out of control Washington that’s destroying us, but fear the obvious outcome of such a decision and will hold on for dear life. I for one, am holding on for dear life.
