| Happy New Year When I came back from my vacation last year, I laid out several plans for 2011. Over the past year, you have seen many of these plans come to fruition. I told you that I would no longer be looking towards elected officials for solutions and instead would look to individuals to chart the course and create real change in the world. It all started in June when I left Fox News to launch my own independent network, GBTV. The network has been dedicated to bringing you the truth that you can’t get anywhere else - whether it be news stories ignored by the mainstream media, commentary on what is really going on in the world, or even comedy that seeks to appeal to people of all political viewpoints and break away from the traditional liberal entertainment industry. In 2012, you will see GBTV continue to grow as a network. We’re adding new shows like Independence USA, a reality program that shows a real family finding out what life “off the grid” might be like. There are some other big announcements coming, but there are people in my office who would be pretty mad if I let the cat out of the bag this early (and yes, I’ve hired so many people in 2011 that when enough of them yell at me I listen. Sometimes.) But aside from great programming on GBTV, I’ve made a lot of personal changes in 2011 as well. I traveled to Israel for the Restoring Courage events to stand with Israel and the Jewish people in one of the most defining moments of my life so far. Next year, I’ll be bringing people from around the country to my new home of Dallas, TX for “Restoring Love” - a three day event where thousands will gather and perform acts of service and charity across the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. We’ll also have an amazing evening of celebration, inspiration, and reflection on July 28th at Cowboys Stadium. This is something you will NOT want to miss as individuals stand together and fundamentally transform the country like never before. I also launched Mercury One at the end of 2011, and this non-profit initiative will be a big part of my life going into 2012 and beyond. The organization will not only help me organize the “Restoring Love” event, but it will carry that spirit of service into places across the country and the globe. It will give you the chance to roll up your sleeves and get involved, as well as a chance to support others who are looking to make a difference. This is something I have been actively working on for over a year and an idea I have had for a very, very long time. You’ve been telling me “Ok, Glenn. I get it! I know the problems - but what can I do?” Mercury One is the answer. Stay tuned because there are some big things coming in 2012. I’d like to leave you with a story I read on radio when I came back after the holidays last January. Read it and look at all the things we have done together over the past two years. I hope you can see how everything we have been working towards is about solutions born in the individual. A man decided that he would change the world. But, he wasn’t successful. So he decided to change the country. But, he wasn’t successful. So he decided to change his community. But, he wasn’t successful. So he decided to change his street. But, be wasn’t successful. So he decided to change his family. But, he wasn’t successful. So he decided to change himself. AND HE WAS SUCCESSFUL. AND HIS FAMILY CHANGED AND THEY AFFECTED THEIR STREET. AND THE PEOPLE ON THE STREET AFFECTED THEIR COMMUNITY. AND THE PEOPLE OF THE COMMUNITY AFFECTED THEIR COUNTRY. AND THE PEOPLE OF THE COUNTRY AFFECTED THE WORLD. And gang, I promise you, we are so close to seeing things turn around in this country and changing for the better. We just need to start with ourselves, then our families, and then our communities. I took an oath of office in which I agreed to enforce the laws of the state and federal constitutions. As the top law enforcement officer in Maricopa County, I do not have the luxury of deciding whether to take a "hard-line approach" in the enforcement of state and federal laws. I must enforce all of them. Arizona currently has two laws in the state constitution concerning illegal immigration, which I am enforcing.

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.
The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan". All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so no one will fail and no one will receive an A.... (substituting grades for dollars - something closer to home and more readily understood by all).
After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little..
The second test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F. As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else. To their great surprise, ALL FAILED and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed. It could not be any simpler than that.
Remember, there IS a test coming up. The 2012 elections.

With Glenn’s last show on FOX News happening tonight, many are wondering why he would choose to leave his highly rated, highly successful program to go into the untested waters of an digital video network. Not wanting to wait until 5pm, Glenn decided to adress the issue on radio this morning.
“You cannot solve anything if you are not dealing in an honest system,” Glenn said. While FOX is the most honest system out, Glenn said that he wanted to operate in a complete different fashion than every other cable news network.
“What Netflix is doing right now to movies,” Glenn said, “We’re about to do to the news and information systems.”
“The world is changing. And I don’t think people really understand that. And it’s going to change in the blink of an eye. I’m not going to play the game anymore.”
“I know enough now to know it doesn’t work. It doesn’t work. And so we have to reach out. Our footprint every month is estimated at about 30 million Americans. That’s an enormous footprint. But you know who’s really not included in that is anyone under 30 really.”
Mark Halperin’s apology for making a disparaging remark about Obama is a perfect example of why traditional cable networks will fail. “I’m more offended that you’re apologizing for something that you actually believe. Say it. That’s why these systems are going to fail,” Glenn said. The fact that Halperin has now been suspended for telling the truth is baffling to Glenn.

Following his ruthless antics during Liberia’s 14-yearcivil war (between 1989 and 2003, 250,000 people were killed and one million were displaced by the inter-tribal war), he has left his violent past behind and reinvented himself as a Christian evangelist. It was in 1996, seven years before the war ended, that Blahyi converted to Christianity and suspended his murderous rampage. Today, he is married and has three children.
Contrary to his former life as a black-magic performing high priest, Blahyi, 40, now travels across Liberia preaching,working to expose cannibalism and trying to escape his horrendously-tarnished past. His mission transcends merely sharing the gospel, as he is seeking out the individuals he once victimized to find earthly forgiveness.
Now, you’re probably wondering how he got his name — “General Butt Naked.” Blahyi was known to fight only with his AK-47 and a pair of leather shoes. He and his child army (yes, they were all children) are said to have murdered thousands during the nation’s brutal civil war.
According to Daily Mail, Blahyi’s rampage started when he committed a cannibalistic initiation sacrifice on a little girl when he was 11-years-old. This action was the first in what he claims amounts to a total of 20,000 murders (though his rivals dispute this number). Daily Mail continues:
In a 2010 interview with the Daily Mail, Blahyi discussed forgiveness. “I believe the Bible strongly and it says God has forgiven me,” he explains. He even says he’d be willing to be tried and hanged for war crimes at The Hague, should his situation culminate with such an action.
While his spiritual life may be sound, his earthly existence is certainly in jeopardy. His wife and children live in Ghana, where they are in hiding, as his mission to find forgiveness among those he wronged forges on.

Fire is the Heart of Life

We all begin life as a ember so small, yet the wind kindles us into a flame, as we flames come together to the council fire, we unite and become apart of the Great Fire of life, providing light to all those who need it. Sharing experiences, warmth and wisdom with one another. thus when one flame comes to its end it still leaves a residue of spirit inside the fire so never is forgotten the sparks of life as we all continue united by spirit through out all Eternity. For the Great Spirit is the source of the fire, we are but the keepers of the fires during our life.

Elderly Gentleman told Woman Merry Christmas, She verbally abused him.
This story was related to me yesterday, the time was in the last month some time at our Local Wal-Mart Store here in Richfield, Utah. I shall relate it as best I can remember by a 3rd party.
This old gentle man in his 80's a good church going man one described as humble and caring to those around him, was at the Wal-Mart Pharmacy in line to get his prescriptions filled.
He noticed a woman whom he did not know, and as per his way of life choose to wish her a 'Merry Christmas'. So he did so.
Excuse me I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas, he said. To his shock and dismay the Woman was offended, but instead of being polite about it she choose to verbally attack this elderly man for 3 minutes in a Tirade of hate, how she was Offended by his wish of a Merry Christmas and all her reasons why. This was in front of all the others in the Pharmacy, both workers and shoppers.
When she was done this elderly man quietly responded to her tirade.
"I am sorry I offended you", he said quietly. I did not mean to do so. But since it offends you I apologize for wishing you a Merry Christmas, since that offended you, I will wish you this. I Wish you a happy HELL. " he said quietly.
I have not heard her response to this, however the crowd that had gathered applauded the old gentleman's way of dealing with this woman.
